This is a page from my sketchbook with some of the original drawings from pages 10-11 of Hungry Bird (Scholastic Press, 2016). I do all of my drawings in a sketchbook before scanning into Adobe Photoshop to assemble the final illustration. One spread in the book gets spread out over numerous pages in my sketchbook as I draw all the parts I need. This page includes an unused drawing of Beaver.
